Pay per hire

New

Send offers for free. You pay one fee only when a student chooses you and you accept.

  • Nothing to pay while you are applying
  • Contact details stay hidden for both sides until you accept
  • Up to 15 open offers at a time

Pay per lead

Pay credits each time you send an offer — it usually takes 7 to 10 offers to get a student.

  • Contact details are available straight away
  • Credits refunded if the student has not viewed your offer in 7 days
  • Apply to as many requests as your balance allows

Whichever plan you choose, there is no commission on lessons and no other required payments. You can switch once every 30 days.

Instructor FAQ

The questions instructors ask us most, answered.

That depends on the plan you’re on. On pay per hire, sending offers is free — you’re charged once, when a student picks you and you accept. On pay per lead, each offer you send costs credits from your wallet, whether or not it turns into a student. On both plans, creating your profile and appearing in search are free, and Servicedrome never takes a commission from your lesson fees.

Pay per hire: send offers for free and pay one larger fee only when a student chooses you and you accept. Contact details stay hidden for both sides until you accept, and you can hold up to 15 open offers at a time. Pay per lead: pay credits every time you send an offer — it usually takes 7 to 10 offers to get a student — and contact details are available straight away. Pay per hire is pre-selected when you sign up, you confirm your choice on the last step of registration, and you can change plan in Settings once every 30 days.

Yes — 70 before you spend anything. You get 50 credits the moment you sign up, and 20 more the first time you finish your profile. After that you can earn credits by referring other instructors, or top up by card through Stripe whenever you want.

Credits are the in-app balance you spend on Servicedrome: sending offers on pay per lead, the hire fee on pay per hire, and paid extras such as profile boosts. They’re used only within Servicedrome and hold no cash value. Lesson fees are separate — students pay you directly and we never take a cut.

On pay per lead, yes: if the student still hasn’t opened your chat 7 days after you sent the offer, the credits go back to your wallet automatically. A student who opened it and simply didn’t reply doesn’t qualify — your offer reached them. On pay per hire the question doesn’t arise, because sending the offer was free: the hire fee is charged only when a student picks you and you accept, and it isn’t refunded after that, so accept when you intend to teach.

Yes. You set your own services, prices and lesson durations, charged either per hour or per service. Students see your pricing on your profile and in every offer you send, so you stay in full control of what you charge. Unlike driving schools that set prices and take a commission, you keep 100% of what your students pay.

Register as an instructor and follow the guided setup: your experience, certifications, vehicles, the areas you cover, your services and pricing, working hours and languages. Registering and being listed are free. Finishing the setup is what puts you in search results and lets you respond to lesson requests — and it pays the 20-credit completion bonus.

Keep your profile complete and current, respond quickly with clear, personalised offers, and build up good reviews. Competitive, transparent pricing helps, and you can boost your profile’s visibility or invite other instructors with your referral code to earn more credits.

Yes, and it pays both of you. Share your referral code with other instructors — when someone you referred finishes setting up their profile, you each get 100 credits. It’s the cheapest way to grow your balance.

Spend credits on a profile promotion to raise your visibility in search listings for a set period. Different tiers (Basic, Pro and Advanced) offer different levels of exposure, and you can turn on auto-renew so your boost continues without interruption.

As soon as you send an offer or accept an invite, a chat opens with that student, where you can exchange text messages, images, files and voice notes to arrange the lessons. On pay per lead, phone numbers are available straight away. On pay per hire, phone numbers stay hidden for both sides until you accept the student’s choice — then they’re revealed to both of you at once.

Add the areas you cover in your profile. This controls which nearby lesson requests you’re matched with and helps students searching in those areas find and contact you.

Set your working hours and availability in your profile. They show students when you’re free to teach and, together with your active-hours settings, control when Servicedrome sends you notifications.
